Robert Tan

Formerly a Senior Partner of Deloitte KassimChan.

Has more than 37 years of experience in the audits of both private and public companies. Served major local and international clients in an extensive range of industries, which include banking, insurance and other financial services, construction and property development, manufacturing, retailing (including hypermarkets), engineering, gaming and entertainment, leisure and hospitality, food and distribution and the service industry.

Was also involved in leading assignments related to outsourced internal audits and risk management services, initial public offerings, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and financial due diligence.

Robert is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and the Malaysian Institute of Taxation. He is currently a Member of the Auditing & Assurance Standards Board established under the auspices of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Ng Meng Kwai

Formerly a Senior Partner of Deloitte KassimChan (Deloitte).

Ng Meng Kwai has over 40 years of public accounting experience and has extensive experiences in audit and financial advisory which include financial due diligence, foreign direct investment advisory, business valuations and transaction support services in various industries such as manufacturing and trading, hotels, banking and finance, construction, telecommunications and property developments. He was also appointed as Liquidator for various voluntary and Court appointment liquidation engagements with combined assets exceeding RM1 billion.

In his time with Deloitte, Meng Kwai was an audit group leader, technical partner and leader of the financial advisory services (corporate finance, transaction support services, corporate recovery, valuations and business advisory). He was also most recently, the Reputation and Risk leader in Deloitte. In this capacity, he was responsible for all aspects of the firm's reputation and risk management matters including quality, independence, regulatory, security and ethics.

Meng Kwai is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Taxation.

He has contributed to the accounting and auditing standards development of Malaysia through participation in various technical committees and boards of the Malaysian professional accounting bodies such as serving as a member of the Financial Reporting Foundation (FRF), a member of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB)'s Issues Committee and a member of the former Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Loo Chee Chou

Formerly a partner of Deloitte KassimChan.

Loo Chee Chou has more than twenty years of assurance experience. He has been involved in the audit of both private and public companies, both local and foreign, which are involved in telecommunications, banking, manufacturing, property development, trading, retailing, engineering, oil and gas, freight forwarding and other service industries. He is also involved in providing due diligence services, reviews of profit and cash flow forecasts and projections and preparation of accountants' reports for initial public offerings.

He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Cheong Thong Farn

Formerly a partner of Deloitte PLT.

Cheong Thoong Farn has more than 28 years of audit and assurance experience.  In his client facing role, as well as technical support role, Thoong Farn has accumulated good experience on engagements with both listed and unlisted entities, operating in various industries and the major sectors of economy. 

In his time with Deloitte PLT, Thoong Farn was the Firm’s Technical Partner and the Reputation and Risk Leader.  In this capacity, he was responsible for the Firm’s reputation and risk management matters including quality, independence, regulatory, security and ethics.

In addition, Thoong Farn also participated in a number of technical committees of the professional body and the accounting standards setter to contribute to the development of financial reporting practices in Malaysia. 

Thoong Farn is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom, and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

 

Tang Jin Ho

Tang jin Ho has more than 20 years of audit and assurance experience.  In his client facing role, Jin Ho has accumulated good experience on engagements with both listed and unlisted entities, operating in various industries and the major sectors of economy. 

Jin Ho is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He is also a member of CPA, Australia and CIMA, UK.
