Personal Data Protection Notice

This Personal Data Notice ("Notice") describe how RMKL with its place of business at Unit 201, Block F, Pusat Dagangan Phileo Damansara 1, Jalan 16/11, Seksyen 16, 46350 Petaling Jaya and our affiliates uses your Personal Data. For the purposes of this Notice, "RMKL" shall refer to RMKL and our affiliates.

By engaging RMKL to provide services or by interacting with RMKL either at our events, confrerences, seminars, talks or otherwise, or by using the RMKL's website http://www.rmkl.com./my ("Website"), you consent to the processing of your Personal Data by RMKL and all persons involved in the provision of services by RMKL.

RMKL shall have the right to modify, update or amend the terms of this Notice at any time by placing the updated Notice on the Website. By continuing to communicate with RMKL or by continuing to use RMKL's services following the modifications, updates or amendments to this Notice shall signify your acceptance of such modifications, updates or amendments.

Collection of Personal Data

1. "Personal Data" means information about you which you have provided to RMKL, such as your name, address, telephone number, NRIC, email address, your personal preferences, particulars of your spouse or family members and bank account information and any information which may identify you, your spouse or family members that has been or may be collected, stored, used and processed by RMKL from time to time.
   
2. In addition to the Personal Data you provide to RMKL directly (i.e during your communication with RMKL and/or when you engage RMKL to provide services), RMKL may also collect your Personal Data from a variety of sources, including without limitation at any events, comferences, seminars or talks organised or sponsored by RMKL.
   
3. The provision of your Personal Data is voluntary. However, if you do not provide your Personal Data, RMKL may not be able to (i) communicate with you or (ii) provide you the services you require.
   

Purposes of Processing

1. RMKL may use and process your Personal Data for the purposes relating to the services you have requested and for the business activities of RMKL which shall include, without limitation:

• to communicate with you;
• to response to questions and comments from you;
  
• for internal administrative purposes;
  
• to provide information to regulatory and governmental authorities in order to comply with statutory and government requirements:
  
• for RMKL to comply with its obligations under law
  

                     and you agree and consent to RMKL using and processing your Personal Data in the manner as

                     identified in this Notice.

Other Purposes

1. RMKL may also use and process your data for other purposes such as:
   

• to send you materials such as newsletters, articles, write-ups as well as other updates; and
• to distribute information or details of events, seminars, conferences and talks which may be of interest to you;

                     by way of email or mail.

          2.  If you do not consent to RMKL processing your Personal Data for the purposes listed above,

Transfer of Personal Data

1. As RMKL's information technology storage facilites and servers may be located in other jurisdictions, your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored, used and processed in jurisdiction other than Malaysia. You understand and consent to the transfer of your Personal Data out of Malaysia as described herein.

Data Retention

1. We will keep any perosnal information you give us as long as there is a reason to do so, for instance to satisfy the law and regulations, or to protect our interests. If not, then we will destroy it by purging it from our electronic, manual, and other filing systems according to our internal procedures and schedules.
   

Access and Correction Requests and Inquiries

In respect of your rights to access and/or correct your Personal Data, RMKL has the right to refuse your request to access and/or make any correction to your Personal Data for the reasons permitted under law, such as where the expense of providing access to you is disproportionate to the risks to your privacy.
